Ya just gotta love the sexy eco-loving side of LDC. So, yeah, right, we might cover him like jam on toast around here, but it's for good reason! The hat that Leo wears in his new political thriller, "Body of Lies," is an organic cotton hat from a company called California Rising (that's their crest up there on the hat in the pic). Although the founders of CR, Jules and Joshua told Eco Scoop that they hadn't heard from Leo's folks personally about wearing the hat, we're thinking it's not by accident that he's got it on, as we all know Leo is one of Hollywood's most ardent green guys.

California Rising donates some profits of their sustainable hemp fabric and organic cotton wares to 1% For The Planet (an organization to which companies donate one percent of their profits to enviro groups)  as well as the charitable organization Dreamstreet, a camp for kids with cancer.

 

So, big star=big awareness. Big ups to that!
