Just because she plays a forensic anthropologist on FOX's "Bones" doesn't mean actress Emily Deschanel's investigative streak ends there. As Ecorazzi reports, Emily, a passionate environmentalist, is on the hunt for some good and glamorous green deals which is why it makes perfect sense that the Green With Glamour girls have designated "Emily's Eco-Faves" on their site, as a place to see what her favorite eco-picks are. "Go Green. Stay Stylish" is the GWG motto, so you know they're onto some juicy stuff, like the "You're Welcome," recycled gift wrap, or the 100 percent organic, unbleached and undyed "sea bird tea towel," that are two of Emily's Eco-Faves.

But Em's a total eco rock star beyond that: she's a strict vegan, and here's just a sprinkling of causes that she supports: Farm Sanctuary, Natural Resources Defense Coucil and Stop Global Warming.org. And, really, doesn't she just seem like a good gal through and through?  And if a busy actress (the new season of "Bones" premiere's Sept. 1) supports those worthy causes and takes time pick out cool stuff for us to check out, well, it makes me wonder what all those people who are in the spotlight with nothing really redeeming to add to society are doing there anyway? So way to go, Emily, you get the Eco Scoop Gold Star of Awesome Eco-ness!
